Early design choices shape durability, health, carbon, and cost for decades, so we treat the home as critical infrastructure: beautiful when complete, but disciplined, measurable, and buildable from the beginning.
Phasys is a technology-integrated design and project-delivery firm working at the intersection of architecture, building science, and construction management. Our baseline is Passive House performance, Living Building Challenge principles, and Red List informed material review, applied through native-first BIM workflows, lean design, and field-tested detailing.

Spatial diagnostics, LiDAR capture, BIM model management, design development, permitting, variances, procurement review, contractor coordination, and on-site verification stay connected through a single workflow. We collaborate with leading architects on most projects and support them with technical detailing, production design, stakeholder coordination, and construction-phase continuity across the full asset lifecycle.
Our methodology combines lean design, lean project delivery, and integrated project delivery principles to reduce rework, surface constraints early, and keep the model aligned with field reality. Every engagement begins with a structured study of routines, health priorities, site conditions, and long-term performance goals so form, systems, and construction logic mature together in a reproducible process.
We work with residential clients pursuing new construction, major additions, and major retrofits, and with licensed architects who need a technically rigorous design, BIM, and coordination partner. Over the last three years, our team has helped secure dozens of variances across multiple local jurisdictions and participated in advancing an ordinance through a county and coastal commission, strengthening the path from high-performance design to actual approvals.

We maintain the model, coordinate stakeholders, review submittals and procurement, and verify that construction aligns with design intent and performance targets. Whether we are leading delivery or supporting the architect of record, we reduce friction between drawing set, approvals, purchasing, and field execution while preserving data continuity.

Healthy-home claims require discipline, not slogans. We review assemblies and product data for Red List related risks where documentation is available, and we coordinate ventilation, acoustics, moisture control, and the thermal envelope as an integrated whole rather than isolated specifications. The aim is housing that performs better for occupants and for the broader environment.
